Established in 1971, Sukee Kennels moved to its present location from Rockland, Maine, in 1978. Our trained dogs and puppies, numbering in the thousands, are in homes worldwide!

Sukee Kennels endeavors to produce the finest quality German Shepherd Dogs with lines from Germany and the Czech Republic to enhance the intelligence and trainability that the breed is so famous for. Jerry Sukeforth, owner and trainer, has over 35 years of dog training experience, having instructed training for thousands of dogs. He has trained K-9 teams for more than 50 different police departments, search and rescue dogs for the Maine Warden Service, bomb detection dogs, narcotic detection dogs for the United States Coast Guard, and most recently, a patrol and narcotics detection dog for Athens, Greece.
